Together we are stronger, smarter, more resilient, and simply better. If nothing else, the last 20+ months have taught us this. Our continued focus on the customer, both internal and external, has allowed Zochem to remain the industry leader in zinc oxide while utilizing our agile structure to manage the ever-changing variables in our day-to-day environment.
As we transition into 2022, the challenges ahead appear familiar to the challenges we thought we left behind. At the forefront, Zochem has and will continue to place employee safety at the top of all priorities for a consistent and repeatable approach to the pandemic that persists. Our culture has provided over 10 years without a lost-time injury which signifies that each employee’s teammate also has their H&S priorities in mind. This very same culture is providing leadership and education to our industry peer groups and local networks including above-average CV-19 vaccination rates in both locales through education and open-door discussion.
Our employees are one team…a Zochem “Dream Team.” Our focus is to continuously improve in all facets of the business where we can learn, develop, and contribute to the greater good of our customers, suppliers, neighbors of Dickson, TN, U.S.A., and Brampton, ON, Canada. We have embraced the challenges within the supply chain, weather impacts, and labor-management from COVID-19 to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of our problem-solving techniques.
I would like to thank our business partners for their collaboration and commitment to finding solutions when innovation and free-thinking were required. The web of knowledge and forethought amongst our network is an endless source of great people with great initiatives to provide essential products to those who need them most.
What do we have in store for 2022? Quite simply, our vision is still to be the Answer to All Things Zinc Oxide.
We will achieve this through the development of our committed and respectful staff and continued investments in state-of-the-art technologies for sustainable, cost-effective zinc products. We will continue to test new innovative methods to sharpen our skills while exhibiting leadership in health and safety, both at the workplace and within our communities. It is within these communities that we will continually provide contributions at educational institutions to create a two-way street of learning between Zochem and the Leaders of Tomorrow.
The last 20+ months have brought about challenges that none of us were accustomed to. But these experiences have better prepared us for what the next year may have in store for us, our business partners, and our communities.
From the entire Zochem Dream Team, wishing everyone a safe and healthy start to 2022!
Mohit Sharma, President & C.E.O.
