Founded in 1933, Zochem is North America’s
best-known manufacturer of high-quality zinc
oxide products. Today, the company literally sets
the benchmark for standards in the zinc oxide
industry. With a very large production capacity,
and an extensive warehouse and distribution
network, Zochem can supply virtually unlimited
quantities of high purity zinc oxide to anywhere in
the world.

Zochem is headquartered in Dickson, Tennessee,
which is also the home of America’s newest (2014),
most modern zinc oxide manufacturing plant and
laboratory. A second plant is located in Brampton,
Ontario, Canada. Both the Brampton and Dickson
facilities manufacture with the French Process
method exclusively, as this method produces zinc
oxide with the most consistent quality and highest
purity. Under the leadership of zinc oxide industry
veterans, both plants are also leaders in plant
safety. Both North American facilities produce
specialized grades designed for the rubber, tire,
chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, oil additives,
ceramics, electronics, glass, plastics, paint,
coatings, tape and adhesives, animal nutrition and
fertilizer markets.

in 2014 from the ground up to raise the bar on 18
grades of zinc oxide.
