Zochem team members are always ready to dive in to help a good cause. In advance of a music festival held at the Promise Land Historic Site (Charlotte, TN) Zochem employees painted outdoor facilities and did other general maintenance. Zochem was the title sponsor of their annual Music and Arts festival.
Sy Smith headlined the 2022 Promise Land Music and Arts Festival happening at the Promise Land Historic Site in Charlotte, Tennessee. After a two-year absence, the Festival featured a music lineup with Sy Smith, Brassville, The Danberrys, AyyWille’, and Jamye with the Y.
Festival organizers said, “We were excited to be back, bringing the best acts back to Promise Land for the 2022 Festival, presented by Zochem.”
Zochem’s Ken Williams said, “Zochem is proud to be the presenting sponsor for the largest annual tourism event at the Promise Land Historic Site as well supporting the continued preservation of this important cultural heritage site. We look forward to coming together safely to celebrate the music and community fellowship.”
Festival attendees enjoyed a variety of musical performances from both an internationally renowned artist and regional legends.
The festival opened on June 4 with arts and crafts, a variety food from vendors and food trucks, living history demonstrations and exhibits, birds of prey demonstration by a Montgomery Bell State Park Ranger, a children’s fun activities pavilion. The children’s area included playground equipment newly painted by the Zochem team.
As one of Dickson County’s premier employers, Zochem welcomed the opportunity to support of the preservation of this important, historic site while continuing efforts to expand presence and support within the local communities.
