The event is the major annual conference and networking event for the global zinc industry, highlighting key industry trends and challenges. Mr. Sharma will provide an overview of the current zinc oxide industry, taking into account political, economic, social, and technological factors that can either promote or hinder its growth. He will also analyze the 3 to 5-year outlook for zinc oxide demand, focusing on its relationship with current and emerging technologies, particularly in the electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage sectors. Additionally, he will emphasize the importance of sustainability and corporate responsibility for zinc oxide producers.
Using Zochem as an example, he will highlight the need for responsible practices in human resources, environmental protection, and good governance. Furthermore, Mr. Sharma will discuss why Zochem uses the French Process exclusively in its operations. This presentation aims to explain that zinc oxide is a safe chemical, which, when produced to appropriate standards, can be used in an incredibly diverse range of products. These include everyday products such as food, ingestible multivitamins, and topical creams and ointments for infants and toddlers to tires and industrial products.
Mr. Sharma has been with Zochem for more than 10 years.
