Dickson TN Chamber of Commerce visits Zochem

We were delighted to welcome Jennie Wagner and the Dickson Chamber of Commerce, along with a group of Dickson County alumni, for a special tour of Zochem’s facility. A total of 21 guests enjoyed the tour, during which Jimmy Kight, our plant manager, shared valuable insights about our operations and ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint through recycling programs and more.

Our visitors were particularly impressed with our contributions to the community. Chauncey Reed, our production manager, and Troy Greene, our production supervisor, led the Chamber group members on an informative plant tour. The group was thrilled to witness our unique muffle furnace in action, as it began the process of manufacturing zinc oxide. For safety reasons, guests were only able to see the furnace room from afar, but they were deeply impressed by the cutting-edge technologies we employ, including our state-of-the-art packing robot in operation.

As a special gift for our Dickson Chamber guests, we provided them with a copy of our charming “Zochy’s Adventures in Zinc Oxide” children’s book, written by our very own company president, Mo Sharma. It was wonderful to see the smiles on their faces as they learned about the value of zinc oxide and Zochem’s charitable contributions. We remind our readers that the “Zochy” book is available for sale on Amazon, with all proceeds going to charity.
