A welcoming and inclusive “Dream Team” at Zochem

Did you know that Zochem’s Dream Team is comprised of a knowledgeable and welcoming group of just under 100 staff, representing 19 different countries of origin? This beautiful array of cultural backgrounds and understanding creates a warm and rewarding place to work with a tremendous knowledge base from a global perspective.

The Zochem Dream Team has always been poised to be inclusive to people from all walks of life, which works in parallel with our fundamental principles of innovation and collaboration.  Soliciting different perspectives on business decisions allows us, as global supplier of zinc oxide, to ensure we are considering the viewpoint of different stakeholders within our team and community.

Providing avenues to our existing team members to grow within our organization has been paramount in retaining our core knowledge and values while emphasizing that growth opportunities exist for all.

One of the many intelligent, diligent, and hard-working team members propelling Zochem to be the industry leader in zinc oxide is our Corporate Controller, Carrie Morgan. Allow us to introduce to you to Carrie.

Carrie began her career with Zochem in 2016 and has been a key leader within the Finance Team since day one.  Carrie’s initial role was that of single site controller with a focus on accuracy of transactions and timely reporting in support of Zochems strategic initiatives.  In 2018, Carrie assumed the role of Corporate Controller.  Through continued growth, ambition and a consistent delivery of high-quality work product, Carrie quickly assumed additional responsibilities with the company. Carrie presently has oversight of all day-to-day accounting & finance functions in addition to providing general operational support for Zochem’s U.S. and Canadian operations.

“Carrie is the consummate financial professional. Her industry knowledge and work ethic are simply unparalleled and it is an absolute pleasure to work with her on a daily basis.” Ken Williams, CFO & VP of Administration.

As a key contributor to our team, Carrie has proven to be a conduit of information and support for our internal teams. She is equally adept whether supporting production, logistics, sales or the finance organization.  Carrie is also a very strong advocate for our customers, constantly striving to derive solutions in the interest of both the customer and the company.

In her spare time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her bright and successful son who is following in her footsteps at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. Carrie is philanthropist at heart which includes giving of her time and talents in support of veteran related charities. She has participated in the annual GallantFew Patriot Challenge for the past 2 years. This challenge supports veterans with reintegration following their military service, an area near and dear to her heart.
