Established in 1933, ZOCHEM is Canada's largest established zinc oxide manufacturer and the second largest single site producer in North America.
Since moving into our present facility in Brampton, Ontario, July 1974, ZOCHEM has grown steadily through our reputation as a supplier of consistent, high quality zinc oxide and through fast, responsive service.

ZOCHEM is a division of an integrated zinc company, Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Limited, which began mining and smelting operations at Flin Flon, Manitoba in 1927. Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Limited is wholly owned by HudBay Minerals Inc.

With an assured supply of high quality zinc, ZOCHEM can guarantee uninterrupted production of oxide. With a complete line of zinc oxide grades, ZOCHEM can service the needs of all industries, including rubber products, chemicals, ceramics, paints, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and many others. Using Special High Grade zinc, we produce the highest quality zinc oxide. Our grades are available in a wide range of surface areas, surface treated and pelletized versions for all industries. Our USP grade zinc oxide has been designated an FDA labeler code for pharmaceutical and food applications. We also supply technical grades of zinc oxide.
